The newest in BMW's line of Sport Activity Vehicles, the X6 combines all the qualities of previous iterations with a host of new refinements. The 5 speed automatic transmission has been reworked to tighten the performance of its Adaptive Transmission Control as well as the STEPTRONIC gear selection. The X6 also features a new datajack interface for BMW's new Driver Override gearing control. Beyond the transmission and engine improvements, the X6 features an updated ergonomic layout, based in no small part upon the feedback generated by the previous X-series vehicles.
