Sharpening the Knife ...

Dark Masque Productions is the sister organization of The Difference Guild, both of which fall beneath the umbrella of the C.G. Lynk. Our over-arching goal is to provide a ready pool of trained and competent role-players to participate in gaming events. We are flexible with the game system, encouraging our players to develop a familiarity with a wide variety of games. However, most of our players specialize in a few core games.

Competence is gained through repetition, and we encourage both players and GMs to host games at least twice a month if not more. At the outset, players aren't expected to have a detailed familiarity with the rules. However, as the game progresses and as they are exposed to the rules by the GM, we expect them to develop a certain baseline competence in the game system. At least with those rule sections that apply directly to their character.
